The program
What is RAEV FleetPro™?
RAEV FleetPro™ is our fleet rental platform and participation program. You own electric vehicles through your own LLC; our platform partner ZEVO rents them short-term to rideshare drivers; RAEV Rentals manages the program, insurance and claims, and pays your LLC monthly.
Do I need experience in the rental business?
No. Day-to-day operations are handled for you. Owners typically spend their time on the initial setup and reviewing monthly reporting.
Who is this program designed for?
Business owners, high-income professionals, family offices and individuals with large liquidity events who can use business deductions against their income. Your CPA should confirm fit.
Vehicles & operations
What vehicles will I own?
The initial fleet is Tesla electric vehicles averaging about $30,000 each. Vehicles are purchased through the platform; outside vehicles are not accepted.
Who rents the vehicles?
ZEVO rents vehicles short-term to rideshare drivers and handles placement, charging, cleaning, maintenance, transport and telematics.
Can I see where my vehicles are?
Yes. Every vehicle is GPS and telematics tracked, and owners receive fleet reporting.
What happens if a vehicle is damaged?
RAEV Rentals manages the fleet insurance program and handles accident claims and repairs.
Will autonomous vehicles be offered?
Autonomous vehicles are planned as a future fleet option. We’ll share details with owners and partners as they become available.
Income, fees & financing
How much do I need to put down?
Typically 10% of the vehicle price, with up to 90% financed over 60 months through approved lenders. Some lenders may require 20% down.
How am I paid?
RAEV Rentals pays your LLC a flat monthly fee equal to your loan payment plus the 18% target annual return on your down payment (calculated on 10% of the vehicle price, even if you put more down). Your bank drafts the loan payment from your LLC account.
Payments come from available rental revenue. The 18% is a target, not a guarantee, and you remain responsible for your loans.
What fees are involved?
A 3% platform fee is due at closing, and a 1% loan origination fee is added to your loan. All fees are disclosed in your program documents.
Are the loans recourse?
Yes. Loans are made to your LLC by approved lenders and are recourse; lenders may require a personal guarantee.
Taxes
What tax benefits might I receive?
Qualifying vehicles placed in service may be eligible for bonus depreciation under IRC §168(k), potentially allowing a large first-year deduction that passes through your LLC.
Is the deduction guaranteed?
No. It depends on qualifying property, placed-in-service timing, passive-activity and at-risk rules, §280F limits and your own income. We provide documentation; your CPA or tax attorney determines your treatment.
What about recapture when vehicles are sold?
Depreciation recapture is generally taxable when vehicles are sold or bought back. The 10% payoff refund at buyback is designed to help fund rollover vehicles that may offset recapture. Discuss with your CPA.
Exit & growth
How do I exit the program?
We target a buyback after month 48: RAEV pays off your loan and refunds you 10% of the payoff toward rollover vehicles. The buyback is a target, not a guarantee. Other exit terms are set in your Participation Agreement.
Can I add more vehicles later?
Yes. Owners may add a new tranche each year. Tranches stack, and each exits on its own schedule.
Can I refer friends or colleagues?
Yes. Professionals can join our Referral Partner Program. Owners can also introduce friends — just contact us.
